Binding of Isaac has over 17 endings, each with unique requirements. This guide covers all endings and how to unlock them.

Main Story Endings

Ending 1: Mother (Normal)

• Requirement: Defeat Mother in the Dark Room
• How to reach: Beat Mom's Foot → Mom's Heart → It Lives → The Void → Mother
• Story: Isaac defeats his mother and escapes the basement
• Unlock: Nothing special. Just beat the game.

Ending 2: The Dark Room

• Requirement: Die in the Dark Room with The Negative
• How to reach: Beat Mom's Heart 11 times to unlock The Negative
• Story: Isaac succumbs to the darkness
• Unlock: The Negative item (unlocks Dark Room path)

Ending 3: The Chest

• Requirement: Die in the Chest with The D6
• How to reach: Beat Mom's Heart 11 times to unlock The D6
• Story: Isaac is trapped in the chest forever
• Unlock: The D6 item (unlocks Chest path)

Ending 4: Mega Satan

• Requirement: Defeat Mega Satan
• How to reach: Collect both halves of the Key Pieces → unlock Mega Satan door
• Story: Isaac defeats the ultimate evil
• Unlock: Key Piece 1 + Key Piece 2 (from Boss Rush and The Void)

Ending 5: Hush

• Requirement: Defeat Hush
• How to reach: Defeat Mom's Heart in under 1 minute
• Story: Isaac defeats the final boss
• Unlock: Beat Mom's Heart in under 1 minute (speedrun)

Ending 6: Delirium

• Requirement: Defeat Delirium
• How to reach: Defeat Hush (available after beating Mom's Heart 11 times)
• Story: Isaac defeats the true final boss
• Unlock: Beat Mom's Heart 11 times, then defeat Hush

Ending 7: The Beast

• Requirement: Defeat The Beast (Repentance DLC)
• How to reach: Unlock through Repentance DLC progression
• Story: Isaac defeats the ultimate evil
• Unlock: Collect all items in the bestiary (100% completion)

Secret Boss Endings

Ending 8: Krampus

• Requirement: Defeat Krampus
• How to reach: Kill 15 angels in a single run
• Story: Isaac defeats the punisher
• Unlock: Kill 15 angels in a single run

Ending 9: Ultra Greed

• Requirement: Defeat Ultra Greed
• How to reach: Donate 1000 coins to the Greed Machine
• Story: Isaac defeats the greed demon
• Unlock: Donate 1000 coins to the Greed Machine

Ending 10: Ultra Pride

• Requirement: Defeat Ultra Pride
• How to reach: Collect 7 sin items
• Story: Isaac defeats the pride demon
• Unlock: Collect 7 sin items (Pride, Envy, Wrath, etc.)

Ending 11: The Haunted

• Requirement: Defeat The Haunted
• How to reach: Die 100 times
• Story: Isaac becomes a ghost

• How to reach: Die in a sacrifice room with The Lost character

• Requirement: Reach The Void and defeat Mother
• How to reach: Collect 4 Key Pieces → unlock The Void door

Ending 14: The Dark Room Path

• Requirement: Reach the Dark Room with The Negative
• How to reach: Beat Mom's Heart 11 times → unlock The Negative
• Story: Isaac succumbs to the darkness
• Unlock: Beat Mom's Heart 11 times

Step 3: Unlock Hush and Delirium

• Beat Mom's Heart in under 1 minute to unlock Hush
• Defeat Hush to unlock Delirium

Step 4: 100% Completion

• Collect all items in the bestiary
• Unlocks The Beast door

Step 5: Secret Bosses

• Kill 15 angels to unlock Krampus
• Donate 1000 coins to unlock Ultra Greed
• Collect 7 sin items to unlock Ultra Pride
• Die 100 times to unlock The Haunted
• Die in sacrifice room with The Lost to unlock The Lost

Advanced Tips

• Beat Mom's Heart 11 times first. This unlocks the most important paths.
• Collect Key Pieces to unlock Mega Satan. This is the main story ending.
• Speedrun Mom's Heart to unlock Hush and Delirium. These are the hardest endings.
• 100% completion unlocks The Beast. This requires collecting all items.
• Secret bosses are optional but rewarding. They unlock unique items and achievements.
