Vampire Survivors has 30+ characters. This guide ranks them all.

S-Tier Characters

Antonio (Starting Character)

• Starting weapon: Whip
• Bonus: +10% damage
• Why S-tier: Whip is the best starting weapon. It evolves into Bloody Tear (the best weapon in the game).

Imelda (Starting Character)

• Starting weapon: Magic Wand
• Bonus: +10% experience gain
• Why S-tier: Extra XP means faster level-ups. Magic Wand evolves into Holy Wand.

Krochi Freetto (Unlock: Survive 10 minutes)

• Starting weapon: Fire Wand
• Bonus: +1 projectile per weapon
• Why S-tier: Extra projectiles stack with everything. Fire Wand + extra projectiles = screen-clearing damage.

Poe Ratcho (Unlock: Defeat 100,000 enemies total)

• Starting weapon: Axe
• Bonus: +20% area
• Why S-tier: Axe is already great, and extra area makes it hit everything. Axe evolves into Death Spiral.

A-Tier Characters

Arca Ladonna (Unlock: Get 10 weapons to level 8)

• Starting weapon: Fire Wand
• Bonus: +10% cooldown reduction

Porta Ladonna (Unlock: Get 4 weapons to level 8)

• Starting weapon: Lightning Ring
• Bonus: +20% might

Christine (Unlock: Defeat 3,000 enemies in a single run)

• Starting weapon: Cross
• Bonus: +10% luck

Pasqualina (Unlock: Defeat 5,000 enemies in a single run)

• Starting weapon: Garlic
• Bonus: +10% movement speed

F-Tier Characters

Exdash (Unlock: Defeat 1,000 enemies with a specific method)

• Starting weapon: None
• Bonus: -10% might, -10% area, -10% speed
• Why F-tier: Starts with NO weapon and negative bonuses. Only for challenge runs.

Best Characters for Gold Farming

1. Imelda — Extra XP means faster level-ups, which means faster gold per minute.
2. Krochi — Extra projectiles kill enemies faster, more gold drops.
3. Antonio — Whip clears rooms quickly, consistent gold income.
